I like the idea, but I think it'd work better if the actual shirt included both perspectives on the text--with "this band is" over the silhouette, as it is now, but also with "superobscure" under it.

Actually, I think the best look for the shirt would be just like the shirt comp. And Woot wants shirt and comp to match anyway--you're courting rejection as it is.

I like the thumbnail. I'd wear the thumbnail. The shirt doesn't work as well, I think. Plus, non-matching shirt and thumbnail is grounds for rejection: see here.
