Re: Sneezer

I want to wear this back-to-back with my favorite shirt. Maybe they could make it glow in the dark too?

Yeah, pretty much. Pinkerton is a masterpiece (even though Rivers himself said he hates it) and I love the blue album. Green album was not bad. Puts me in a good mood. Maladroit and Make Believe were okay, they have their good moments.

As for the new Red album...uhhhh...nevermind, no comment.

Apparently I need to spend more time with Make Believe, because I liked Red more. Granted, I didn't LIKE Red very much at all... Other than that, I think you're spot on.

Weezer has reached that plateau where I never want to see them live again. I can't imagine a scenario where I will hear enough good songs to make it worth my time and money. Which is a shame, because they were pretty spot-on in better days.

I missed a Foozer concert a few years back (Weezer and Foo Fighters) and I'm still kicking myself about it (even though I don't particularly care for the Foo Fighters) and another one even further back, I think around Green album's time. I'd go see them if they came around just because I never have. But I really wish I caught them back in the day. I have no doubt that any of those shows would have been much better than anything in the future.

Anyway, what's that tiny type say on the shirt? Below "sneezer"?

Not sure if guys have this music channel called Palladia, but they routinely show a Weezer concert special back in 2005 in J@pan where they sang mostly Pinkerton and Blue album stuff. I think they also sang "Don't Let Go," "Dope Nose," and Rivers, I guess, serenaded the crowd with "Island in the Sun" acoustically by himself. Pretty awesome stuff.

Yup, it's currently saved and protected in my DVR

That's the Foozer concert I missed. It was during that tour. Remember that girl they got up on the stage to play a song with them? Yeah, that could have been me...ah, regrets.

Hahah, same here! Got it recorded. I don't even know how that girl manage to play through the whole song. Props to her. Actually, the last time I saw them in concert was back in 2002 (whoa! 7 years ago in college!) when they came out with Green. Line up was pretty good too. Opened up with Jack Black's Tenacious D, then Jimmy Eat World, and finally Weezer! I even managed to sneak in to the floor. Booyah!

(Sorry Seekay for thread-jacking your comment section with our Weezer memories )

Woah, that was my last weezer concert, too! There was a girl next to me that apparently was such a big Jimmy Eat World fan, I thought she was going to pass out when they took the stage. She was the epitome of every exaggerated representation of the overly-obsessed fan shown in tv shows, etc. Kind of scary.

But weezer rocked... as does this shirt! (see my little attempt to not go completely off topic)

How true. It's been all downhill since I partied as an extra in Weezer's "Beverly Hills" video. The Playboy Mansion is a lot smaller in real life, and "the grotto" isn't nearly as cool as Samuel L. Jackson made it out to be.

Luckily, Jack White still texts me personally with news of his stealth concerts so I can see him doing his unannounced acoustical sets in smaller, more personal venues.

Re: Sneezer

This might as well just be a weezer t-shirt. Oh wait, it is black and green instead of blue and white, and says sneezer instead of weezer.

It said "this is an authentic fake band." but I guess I didn't make the resolution big enough, because it got this shirt rejected for illegible text. -_- It was based off of this shirt: http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3054/2637477667_03964ed89b.jpg

Oh well.

xD Pretty lacking, to say the least. And I still don't understand the whole submission thing here that well.
