The color of the night sky and the shirt color being the same kind of throws it off for me. It makes it seem like the design is just placed on top of the shirt. I feel like putting the shirt on navy and using an ink color to make the sky royal blue (if you haven't used 6 already) would make it seem more like you are in the tree. Just a thought, but still very good.

I agree completely. Would prefer to see it on brown, black, or navy so the feeling of looking out from inside the tree was there. As it is, it feels disconnected for me.

Haha this reminds me of the squirrels near my house. I'd always see them burying acorns and other nuts in random places around the yard, then seeing same squirrel gorging himself on said acorns in the winter.

Oh and on topic of the shirt, cute design, but its cute in a way that I couldn't pull off wearing it haha.

Oooh very nice! I love that wood/tree texture you made.

I really like this too. It's not just cloyingly cute. There's simple detail here that tells a story and adds to this design's charm. And there's something about the color scheme that's warm and pleasant.

That squirrel must've worked hard!

This is my first time doing this, so I hope I get it right (I just bought the shirt of the day for my son) My daughter was standing next to me, she pointed to this picture and said "I want that one" It is an awesome shirt, I love the way you made the texture of the tree, that is really neat. I voted for it, so I hope it gets printed

This is an actual cute design. On a whole different level compared to bunnies. GMV. The squirrel is the cutest animal I have ever seen on a shirt design. I probably won't buy it just because I am more depressed than the shirt. But you most definitely should win.

I def like the texture of the tree, maybe using a darker color than the royal would be nice. I def think it was an awesome idea to make the hole in the tree look like an acorn as well. well done my friend.

The BBQ one was pretty high also. 4th on that one got 952 and 1st a whopping 1092!

Has anything ever failed to fog with this many votes? I know the music derby racked up some massive vote totals, but pretty much only for the top three designs.

There have been designs in the past that didn't fog with over 1000 votes (exercise derby and steampunk derby, to name 2- not sure if there are any others)- mystery had over 900, as did individualism. That said, though, this is a very intensely high-voting derby. Definitely the highest in the past few months at least.

Ah, yes. Mystery was a pretty intense derby.

It's also worth noting that Sky Harvest will also come close to 900 votes and finish 6th.

Woot seems very active right now in general. Lot's of movement in reckoning, lots of sellouts, very high vote totals, and late winners. Maybe it has something to do with going back to school, an upward turn with the economy, who knows, but it's definitely interesting to see. (For the record though, 6th place was 970 in the exercise derby, so it's not the first time)- although this derby is going to see the latest winner ever, and it may even be first place.
