The Apathy Coalition.

Thought I'd paste the explanation I posted below as to how I feel "apathy" is one of the unwritten rules of society (in case anyone was wondering and doesn't scroll down):

I think appearing apathetic is an unwritten rule of society (especially if you're a hipster?). You've gotta play it cool. Case in point: if someone desirable asks you out, you should NOT grab them and shout, "Ohmigod! I've been doodling our names together in my notebook for SO LONG! Yes! Yes! YES!" Instead maintain your apathy, and shrug carelessly as you say, "Sure. Whatever." and all will be well.

i dont really like these kinds of jokes. kind of along the same lines as the department of redundancy department. its just cancellation. might have somehting to do with an old teacher saying jokes like that all the time though

I like the design, but I feel like it doesn't get the "and" in the theme for this week. If this was straight up propaganda as a theme, I'd probably go for it, but I can't support it as propaganda of an unwritten rule of society. Sorry.

Why is only part of the shirt distressed?
The "not our problem" on the bottom looks too much like a tattoo imo.
Also, the mushroom cloud looks nothing like a mushroom cloud; the way you drew it makes it look to symmetrical and tree-like.

As of now, the design looks like you slapped two or three different styles together.

I wish this was less just-a-square. I like the piece were it cut off on a square poster, but not so much on a shirt.

Responses like this make me think of you as the female counterpoint to jimiyo in the t-shirting world. I'd say that you're brilliant and hilarious but ya know . . . meh.

The borders of the design are far too straight for someone that doesn't care. I think your coalition might have been infiltrated.

I think the lack of apostrophe kills this for me, and that makes me a sad panda.

i dont like it. maybe its because it doesnt really carry a propaganda type message. or maybe its because its a little too close to sekiyokus entry (though executed so much better). i feel like as a propaganda type graphic it just misses its mark.

The broccoli people want their missile back. Not enough of a resemblance to a true atomic warhead, looks like you just planted a very large piece of broccoli/tree into a city scape. And...where is the propaganda, pretty sure apathetic people wouldn't even care to do a piece of propaganda.

Am I the only one who finds this shirt callous and offensive? It's referencing a truly horrendous act of war that killed thousands of people, and saying that we don't care about it because it's "not our problem." It is our problem, and letting a shirt like this into the top 4 of the derby (not to mention wearing one) is disrespectful, rude, and downright offensive. Apathy might apply to your life, but the inclusion of a devastating world event in that apathy is taking it too far.
