I find this oddly scary. Side note, when i was little I had a pet raccoon... similar circumstances as to what you posted in the pre-derby thread jewel.

It's nice, I just can't see a guy wearing a still life with pastels and such, sorry

That's true. It would take a real man to wear this shirt.

I would totally wear this shirt. There's something oddly macabre about it, that makes it for me. GMV (BTW I'm a guy)

That thought crossed my mind as I moved the cursor to select the pink, but then I decided this time around I don't care. I like the contrast of the sweet faded colors and traditional still life against the creepy subject matter. To me, it's right. Or maybe it's just that I was shopping in Miami the other day, and I saw lots of guys in these colors. Could be a local thing...

Gotta stick with your gut Hope this does well, I know I don't speak for all guys, I just can't see myself in it.

Re: My Collection

I am usually not one for pink, but the soft tones make it look as though it were a still life study done in pastels.

Beautiful with a hint of magic.

This is a great design, and I'm happy that you went in this direction of design because I saw your early drawings in the other thread and I wasn't sure what you could do with it, but this came out really nice. But, I can't wear this shirt. It just doesn't match my style.

Re: My Collection

Nice job. I saw this sometime yesterday, when you only had the owl in the jar. I liked it then, and I like it now. The additional elements are wonderful. gl

Re: My Collection

This is wonderful. As usual your lines and colors give the piece such a delicate feeling; which is quite appropriate here. The owl under glass is a very captivating image. Makes me want to go back to my art critique writing days- deep stuff is what I'm saying.

As for the pink, nobody complains about shirts women can't wear.

That's because women can get away with wearing anything.

I don't think the pink in this shirt is as damning as it could be. I wouldn't have a problem wearing this shirt. Looks quite nice.

Munchy Attack If you can find the name of this artist & real song title I'll buy you a daily woot shirt (your choice what day)

Dystopia Dark Lager, Where the Wild Parties at?, B.A. Bearacus, and many more wanted in XXL(PLEASE!!!)

I really like the colours too. And the snail. I think the snail is my favourite.

Very nice work. The owl reminds me of Wesley the Owl: The Remarkable Love Story of an Owl and His Girl.

Re: My Collection

The soft tones on this are really rather nice. It's like you took a Thomas Kinkade palette and said "screw you, painter of light, i'm going to use these colors for something worth viewing." and then you did.

Re: My Collection

Thank you everyone for the nice comments. I did take a risk with the soft colors, but it's good to hear you like it. This is one I'd like to wear myself, so maybe that's why it's not doing terribly well.

Adder - I think we may have something we agree on a lot. Thomas Kinkade - bleh. Wasn't my intention to say screw you to him, but if I have done that here, well, good. Haha. Take that. Painter of light, eh? Didn't he steal that from Monet?
