This is extremely wearable. I like the colors and it reminds me of Kung Fu Panda which is a plus. I loved mantis.

Awesome shirt, funny thing is that I was trying to look up the author of birdplanes to see if they would submit it again and found this in the process. Birdplanes is still my favorite shirt even if it didn't win, but I'd still buy this shirt.

Great job Kris, I really like it, though after looking at your site and seeing some of the amazing pieces you've done I just wish the crane and mantis had more detail, ala your incubus shirt. Looks like you have a couple unused pieces on there that are ripe for this derby too... Keep it up.

BTW, did you design your site from scratch or are you using anything, I like the layout

It's just a kung fu thing, near as I can figure (no specific reference to any particular tv show or movie that I can see--a good thing, imho). Anyway, it's Crane Style versus Praying Mantis Style (if you don't know what that means, you'll probably need to google around about kung fu).

To kris, great job. Usually designs in the derby with a Japanese feel to them are schlocky and terrible, but I really think this would look great on a shirt. Love the olive on brown and how the circle framing the mantis evokes the Japanese flag.
