Re: The mariner's ancient Ryme

Based on the "Ryme of the Ancient Mariner,"
Just don't wear it if you are ever going sailing ^.~

Re: The mariner's ancient Ryme

And a good south wind sprung up behind;
The Albatross did follow,
And every day, for food or play,
Came to the mariner's hollo!

In mist or cloud, on mast or shroud,
It perched for vespers nine;
Whiles all the night, through fog-smoke white,
Glimmered the white moonshine."

`God save thee, ancient Mariner,
From the fiends that plague thee thus! -
Why look'st thou so?' -"With my crossbow
I shot the Albatross."

Heh, I understand that this isn't a big seller... but the idea hit me and I wasn't gonna be satisfied until I executed the concept... so... yeah...

Cool idea. Like the execution. But, yeah, this would look horrible stretched across my double-d chest. Shame, because it would be really cool to wander around with a dead albatross "around my neck". Especially on those baaadd days.

Perfect for the goalkeeper who only "stoppeth one of three", or the student of English Lit - but I don't know how many people would want to have to be constantly explaining the Coleridge reference. But if you wanted an "albatross round your neck" t-shirt, I can't imagine it much better done than this (although the beady eye is a trifle disturbing).
