Ever feel like the yoga poses in WiiFit make you feel like this? Me too...

Clever concept, but isn't this technically a video game reference?

Looks like you may get a print this time. I really love the colors and the illustration is great.

Re: WiiGyptian

I thought this looked familiar, so I found the one from Derby #67: Video Games Through Art History: WiiFit Like An Egyptian. I must say, I definitely like the changes to your new one over the older submission- this one is much less cluttered and straight to the point. The only thing that I'm going to nitpick on here is the hieroglyphics. They are always supposed to progress in the same "direction," per se; for instance, all the faces and "sides" of the glyphs are oriented in the same direction, which indicates how they are read. The image of the man next to the one of a god (both on the bottom of the screen and in the pillar) is pointed in the wrong direction. It's not that big of a deal, but it's something that'd probably keep me from buying it.

LΟL. That's perfect, that's exactly the way people nitpick when they're serious about it. Especially that last line!

Well, if I bought the shirt, one of my teachers has studied hieroglyphics extensively- he'd probably chastise me for getting a shirt that had glyphs not all facing the same way. :P I think it's really cool though.

Thanks for the comment. I didn't actually know that, so that's cool to know. If it doesn't get printed, I'll be sure to reverse them. Of course, you could argue that there are different stories going on?

I posted this in the comments on the Mario shirt, but it applies here as well:

When they first banned video game references they said it was 'Until further notice'. I didn't see them say that it was lifted, but it must have been as the rejector has come and gone and this still stands.

The difference is, for the last several derbies, woot has specifically posted either "No Video Game References," or like in Derby #126: Events of 2009 Illustrated, they specifically mentioned that they were allowed. Free for all!

I would like this better if it were on a lighter color of shirt.

That is a good option. I didn't do the cream color since I would have had to change the hieroglyph colors, and some people don't like cream shirts. But it's an option for sure.
