Awesome coloring from crescentdebris as always, what I don't say often enough is how cool your ink lines and overall layouts are, Draxxx. :^)

I, too, have been looking to get my first cranberry shirt. I hope this one is it! And while I have always admired Drakxxx's talent, this is actually the first shirt of his I've wanted to buy. And I want it bad. Very cool.

I'm really happy with the colors. The lines were great in the pre-launch thread, and the colors make it even better.
The cran is rad, I want to wear the cran.

I'm really glad you guys like the colors. I got the line-art a little after 3am and finished a little after 9am. At that point I was honestly so tired I couldn't tell if it was great or if it sucked.
No idea how Drakxxx drew this and got another entry in at noon. That in itself is MADNESS!!

Really really nice. I mean, it always is, but this one is special. I love how the whole thing makes up a clock and the shape fills the shirt so nicely. I also have not bought a cranberry shirt yet, so hopefully...

I came back to look at this again, and I just noticed the moon, sun, stars, and clouds at the top. Yet, another nice detail. Somehow, I missed it the first time around.

Yeah, the second time I looked at the larger image the artist posted, and I noticed what I believe to be pill bottles on the right side of the clockmaker's desk, and the glowing eyes of whatever little horror lurks inside the door of the cuckoo clock towards the bottom of the design.
Also the bandages on the clockmaker's fingers clearly illustrate that he has been at this for far to long. You know, as if the flying phantom clocks weren't enough proof of such conclusions.
This design is simply amazing.

When I saw the linework for this in the pre-derby thread, I thought this was one of the best pieces I've seen from you ... and CrescentDebris still managed to match that - love the highlights on the clock and lighting.

Definitely one of those subs that is literally too good for Woot. I can only hope for the best. Someone mentioned this was composed similarly to I Met System I. Yes, indeed, and far surpasses it in quality. Drakxxx and CrescentDebris complement each other SO well...

I repeat myself often in the comments for your designs Drak, but this is really an amazing piece of work. The composition is amazing, and the elegance you mix with your dark subject matter is always so interesting. CrescentDebris, your colors are awesome as always as well. I can't wait to buy this one.

Def my favourite of your two submissions this derby, though of course both got my vote, as always!
The concept of madness paired with a watchmaker/fixer makes me think of Sylar, the complex and awesome ubervillian from Heroes. This is a good association.

Hey Joshua,
Yeah, I use a waccom tablet with photoshop.
But you can also use GIMP, a free program that works a lot like photoshop. If your looking to get a drawing tablet, you can get them for around $50 nowadays I believe.
Thanks again for the continued support guys!

*Hastily makes a note to lookup GIMP and Inkscape...*
I am so loving this thread - I just bought the tablet, and can't afford new software right now. Not a Adobe's prices, for sure! Thanks!

I used GIMP to color this actually. It supports .psd files so doing these collabs are possible even using two different programs. Awesome!

Thanks!
I'm a ink sketch artist at heart. and when I take one of my pieces and recreate it on the CP it gains a more professional quallity but loses some of the depth that it once had.
The way you make your art is something to aspire to my fiend. For what it's worth, you have my vote. and thanks again
