The implied grim reaper's robe in version one of the design just wasn't working for most people, so I've added a robe. The over spray on the stencils made it look disjointed, so I made the spray can actively spraying out the stencil. Although the glow in the dark is rather frivolous, I wanted to give it a try. Considering this design is only two inks it should still be cheaper to print that a full 6 color design.
Comments or suggestions?
Thanks!

I can't tell for sure, but it looks like you used some gradients on this. It will get rejected if you did. If you didn't, you might want to post close ups to show that you didn't.

Re: Stencil Skeleton v 2
I would imagine they have to be halftones for the GITD ink, no? It's not that subtle.
I like this better, definitely. Kindof an 'in' joke that the spray can is/isn't there. Nice re-work!

thrawnfett,
This design uses half tones. They are based on a 15 pixel cell size, so at 300 dpi the largest dots are 3.6 points. This is in line with halftones woot has printed in the past.
paigeg,
You are correct - GITD has to be done in halftones. With gradients you are actually mixing two inks on the fly as you print, so it can be very hard to control.
Glad you to hear you like the rework.
If I moved the design to a white shirt and did some rejiggering, the spray can could be spraying a black cloud that would be replace with a glowing reaper when the lights got out.
May be worth playing with in the future. GITD has a lot of potential, and I'm just starting to get my brain wrapped around the design process required to take advantage of it.

Sounds like a cool idea. I hope you get a chance to try it.

Ouch!
Talk about inconsistency! Woot HMs a glow in the dark design during the Luck derby; they don't reject version one of this design; and then they reject version 2 when it's too late to resubmit.
Maybe I'll retool this design come Halloween time.
Thanks everyone who voted!

Hmmm... been thinking. This design has halftone glow in the dark elements. The other unrejected glow in the dark designs are all halftone free - at least in the glow in the dark color.
It would seem the woot's guidelines for bending the "No GITD" rules are:
1. Design must be low color count 3 to 4 max to defer the cost of the glow in the dark ink.
2. Glow in the dark elements must not use halftones

You are right that Woot is inconsistent. However, there inconsistency is not in rejecting GITD entries but in failing two reject the design in the luck derby. You're not going two get anywhere trying two figure out how they allow GITD ink because they have been (predominantly) consistent about not allowing it. Woot has one guideline for inconsistent rejections/non-rejections: they feel like it.
