That's a faun!
In Roman Mythology, fauns (unlike those crazy satyrs) were the place-spirits, or genii, of untamed wildlands and forests - that which I think is one of the most beautiful and valuable things this planet has to offer.
I couldn't think of a better thing to represent Earth Day in my mind.

I had to Google it to make sure, but you're right - Pan is a faun, as well. Incidentally, the Greek counterpart to the Roman god Faunus.

One of the few in this derby (so far) that I would buy & wear. I love mythology in general & the tree reminds me of the older than old live oaks we have around here. Not to mention the artwork & colorage is spot-on. GMV & good luck.

I would love to see more of your magical creatures, thankyou for being brave enough to show this side of you...I love it!
There is something about this planet that you have touched on (more than touched on...) it is the thing that makes us so unique, the human factor in this equation...(here represented by the imagination of a human) the wonder, the fact that there are living creatures on this planet capable of wonder...it's a beautiful piece, and it really stands out because of that.

I don't usually comment, but this is really gorgeous. I'm not sure if I'd wear it, but I want it to look at--I want to HAVE it. It would make for a great storybook cover.
