Re: Go Green
This is really brilliant.
It has so many small details and concepts rolled into it.
The only thing I might suggest is the "green" earth being a little more green. It looks rather yellow to me right now, but I would also be the first to admit that that might just be due to my monitor.
Good luck!

I think it's suppose to be yellow... atleast thats how im interpreting it
Re: Go Green
Well its supposed to be a fade out (yellowish) retro green, but green (red=stop, green=go), sorry if you see it yellow, might be an issue of different screens indeed,
thanks guys,
theinfinityloop: Voted, great design!

wow, i can't believe its suppose to be any sort of shade of green. It's way yellow on the 3 computers I've looked at. I like t that way though- so no matter.
Re: Go Green
Yeah, looks like a yellow-green, heavy on the yellow. But I don't think that detracts from the design. Very cool. I'd love to see detail pics.
One thing I will mention is that the thumbnail doesn't do this design justice, I almost didn't think it was worth clicking on from the distortion.
Re: Go Green
What would you guys think of
PANTONE 556 C
PANTONE 171 C
and PANTONE 374 C for the green?
Detail view of this color combo:

Pick is def more green, it's honestly up to you I like both. I like the idea of it being yellow but i also like the colors you posted.
Re: Go Green
As for the detail view, this one´s a bit larger:

Re: Go Green
This is a gorgeous entry. The details of the art are wonderful. This design is very wearable by any gender. Also like the hidden nature of the message, so to speak. ![]()
Re: Go Green
Looks green over here, boss. Pea green to be exact. Nicely done.

Agreed! Great job!
I love this design. And yeah, it looks more yellow than green to me.
Re: Go Green
Nice job. If you do wind up re-working the colors (it is a little yellow. Don't go too green though!) re-work your comp layout too. I can't really make out the details the way it is--zoom in on a few spots.
Re: Go Green
You have no idea how happy I am to see an a.mar.illo in the fog.

I think it's missing the middle - where we are now, the yellow zone. I'm not sure how you'd incorporate that with any detail, though.
Re: Go Green
I like the other, slightly more green color combo you posted, but honestly, I also like it as-is.
It's a fantastic entry, and I'd hate to see it lose it's momentum with a re-post or a split vote, so it's really up to you.
Re: Go Green
I would most certainly buy this beast of a shirt. Love the color choices, they work together fantastically.
Re: Go Green
Lovely artwork, but is there a reason that the Western Hemisphere is covered in trash and waste while the Eastern is depicted as pristine and green? That side of the world is not entirely paradise (I'm thinking slums of Mumbai, industrial areas of China, Prypiat in the Ukraine, that sort of thing). Just curious.

Good point, if you split the world maps in two parts (like on ancient ones), you get one Americas half and one Eurasia half. I had to choose one for each role. Since shirt.woot is based in North America and the design contains certain autocritisism, i though America should have to deal with that, that doesn´t mean one half is any greener than the other at this time.

After seeing the details I think this might be my favorite shirt this week. Great work. GMV.
Re: Go Green
I really hope this gets printed. So far it is my favorite because the style is different and I love the detail.
Re: Go Green
To the Artist: Great work, love the message. This shirt makes me feel clever (for getting it) =P
Re: Go Green
I'd say even if it looks yellow you could still work with it on the stoplight idea. Just a thought ~_^

- Congratulations on winning a Best Loser Award!
- This is not SPAM.
- Winning a BLA does NOT mean this shirt won't print -- I'm hoping it does.
- Your one and only gift is this crappy little badge in your shirt thread. Enjoy.
- A million lights are dancing and there you are, a shooting star.
Hey, wow, I appreciate your badge, very honored![]()
