The planet is mostly water... the oceans are an often neglected part of the earth... this design also features some amazing, (but sadly endangered) ocean animals.

It's not the fanciest, but here is a pretty way to see where different marine mammals live (at the bottom, select the animal in the drop down menu). Neat!

Your sense of color is something I'm always impressed by, Jas!
I always love a limited color palette, and the blues in this design are just amazing.

Wow, well that's pretty funny because I feel like very often I struggle a great deal with colors. Last night I was thinking - I wish someone would just color this for me!;) And up until the last minute I was still going between several different color schemes. So thanks very much for your comments taninniver!...(and I like limited color palettes too).

I can't believe I'm going to say this but I think it would look better smaller.

I'm glad we both agree that the oceans are probably the most important part of the Earth. Great design!

The design itself looks wonderful, but the plain blue of the shirt looks very boring in comparison. I think it would look better if the design somehow melded with the shirt better.

Heh, well a lot of things in the Earth are really important, but oceans are definitely up there! Great job with your design=)

Glad you think the design is wonderful. I thought because I included the shirt color in the design (the blue of the shirt is the darker blue in the water) it would help meld the design together. I'm open to suggestions though, any ideas?

Peter Maxx was a graphic designer/artist who hit big in the Sixties with bright, colorful desgins that incorporated a lot of swirling color patterns. Think the cover of the Beatles' Sergeant Pepper, and you've got the ideal.

Ohhh. Ok thanks! When I looked up Peter Max'd, it kept coming up with Peter Max D. who is a racecar driver or something, hehe.
Isn't the cover of Sergeant Pepper's the Beatle's in marching band uniforms with tons of celebrity cutouts and a flower bed?

This is so beautiful Jasneko! You have really outdone yourself, I can feel the love you feel for our planet vibing right straight at me when I look at this, it is a lovely tribute, and this is a grezt derby for giving people the opportunity to show love like this, these images are capturing a generations pain and love ...it's really amazing.
