I meant you're lucky if your worst nightmare is a t-shirt. I worry about earthquakes...and ebola.
As for spiders, my house is literally crawling with black widows. With 2 kids and 2 dogs, I get bugged out when they play outside, but that's Southern California life, I guess. They keep to themselves mostly in the cracks our our outside wall. They're beautiful, if you can ignore the venom.
