Good job totally removing the sentence RIGHT before that one.
"Give us your take on the swirling patterns, kaleidoscopic colors, and fractal designs of psychedelic art."
I don't see any of that here.

psy·che·del·ic /ˌsaɪkɪˈdɛlɪk/ Show Spelled[sahy-ki-del-ik] Show IPA
–adjective
1.of or noting a mental state characterized by a profound sense of intensified sensory perception, sometimes accompanied by severe perceptual distortion and hallucinations and by extreme feelings of either euphoria or despair.
2.of, pertaining to, or noting any of various drugs producing this state, as LSD, mescaline, or psilocybin.
3.resembling, characteristic of, or reproducing images, sounds, or the like, experienced while in such a state: psychedelic painting.
do you see any of that in there? Pretty sure you do. ;)
Re: The Toast Commands Thee
Even if it doesn't fit in how some are interrupting the derby theme, I think you should have this printed somewhere because I would buy it. Something about it makes me laugh and reminds me of some very old times.

Except the theme isn't psychedelic. It's psychedelia, i.e.: the art that surrounded the psychedelic times of which examples were listed in the theme. A theme which this shirt does not even come close to fitting.
Re: The Toast Commands Thee
I don't know why this is psychedelic but this shirt is awesome, I want one!!
Re: The Toast Commands Thee
I can state for a fact that my eyes look exactly like that after 3 hits of LSD in the eye. I'd buy it.
Also, with all the fractal designs this derby is producing, something unique is appreciated.

The theme is psychedelia, as in psychedelic ART STYLE. Not blazed cartoon characters.
I say nay, and I feel quite unstomped.

It seems to happen whenever there is a style derby. The Classic Comics Style derby was pretty bad. Maybe 1/3 of the designs were on topic, but people still rush to defend the designs that they like.

"I don't care if it's on theme! I wantz it!!!"
Re: The Toast Commands Thee
I think it's great, totally thinking out of the box on this one. Glad you didn't do fluorescent colors and peace signs, as there is nothing original about that. Props to you =) Print it up, I'd so buy one!

A couple other people wanted me to print it for them if it doesn't win and I wouldn't mind doing it for you too.

Really?
"Psychedelic art is any kind of visual artwork inspired by psychedelic experiences induced by drugs such as LSD, mescaline, and psilocybin."
How about now?
