Re: Verona Apothecary
Cantarella I assume.
Re: Verona Apothecary
I voted. I love it. But I may not buy one. I'm cocnerned it's too feminine for a dude.
Re: Verona Apothecary
I would almost vote for it. But alas the distressing ruins it for me.

Agreed. It would take a real man to wear this shirt. One confident in his machismo.

You can't expect it to look brand new. It is from 1591 after all.

WOW! This one is fantastic. Shakepearian in design, yet you wouldn't know it unless you remember High School English. I love the distressed look and the design is very beautiful and something Shakespear would have designed him self. GMV
Re: Verona Apothecary
This is wonderfully simple, and very pretty! Also a very clever nudge to comedy...or tragedy? Nice work, Jewelwing!
Re: Verona Apothecary
Love it - but it's on white. With the iron in my water, I cannot do white. Sigh...
Re: Verona Apothecary
Way cool!!! Great job!

Hahaha, we were talking last night about high school English class. The last time I read or saw an actual S'peare play was back then, you know, when dinosaurs with pink bangs and hammer pants roamed the earth. (ok not that long ago)
Re: Verona Apothecary
Really well done. Looks like a perfect mock of some random label. I'd actually buy one for my gf to pay her back for all the woot shirts she's purchased for me
.

Thanks! Your signature is adorable!

Re: Verona Apothecary
Love the soft loopy shapes in this. It'd make a great tee!
Good stuff, jewelwing!
Re: Verona Apothecary
I really love this. Great line work.
Re: Verona Apothecary
This is beautiful, creative, clever... really hope it prints!

Iron turns everything yellow in 2 washes. Bleach (I learned the hard way) reacts with the iron in the water and makes it darker. You can use something like heavy duty iron cleaner, but it usually eats through the clothes within 10 washings.

Re: Verona Apothecary
I'm a guy. If this prints I'll buy it.
Love the design, it's not so "wooty" which means the gf won't complain about me wearing it.

Me as well. Love the illustration as usual Jewelwing. ![]()
Re: Verona Apothecary
Clever. Pretty. Voted.
Re: Verona Apothecary
Aww, I want this so badly. Great combination of design and reference.
I'd also wear this one without feeling emasculated. It's a classy, elegant, clever design.
Re: Verona Apothecary
I'm a guy and I'd wear this even if it was on pink. And the ink was glittery. OK, maybe not the glittery part, but I like this shirt.
Love it. It would be really cute on a light grey shirt.
Re: Verona Apothecary
Agreed - very cute - wish it wasn't on white tho ![]()
Re: Verona Apothecary
Simple and clean. I don't think we've had a one color print in awhile, will we break that drought ![]()
Re: Verona Apothecary
this is awesome - clever but understated, and great linework, i'd vote twice if i could!
My fiancee loves Romeo & Juliet and I think this would be an awesome gift for her. I hope it makes it!
I absolutely love this, even if it is on white. I would totally buy one. Excellent work, I hope it prints! GMV

Time to grow a pair. A man does not worry what others think.

Correction:
A man does not worry what anyone other than his lady (or man) thinks.
Re: Verona Apothecary
Love it and really love the distressing, but I'd love it even more on almost anything not-white. Gray's done to death too - maybe a nice pale tan/taupe? Something that looks like it's been in a trunk for 400 years...
Also, my husband would totally wear it. He doesn't have a problem with his identity or yours, thankfully.
Re: Verona Apothecary
Dang! Ordered one before realizing the name of the city was wrong. The apothecary was in Mantua, not Verona.

It gives a lovely rust-colored tinge to your clothes. Even after one washing they are never quite the same.
