Yay, no more neanderthal! Voted again! ^_^
Writers are people too! (Albeit strange ones.)
Save Poe! Reckon Nevermore! Or he'll be head-locked forevermore!

capedcrusader - thanks for pointing out the weirdly shaped head in the first version. I spent so much time tweaking the main part of the drawing that I didn't even pay much attention to the outline. Looks much better now!

Beautiful, I'm glad this is finally getting more visibility.
+1 I really love this. It's so amazingly peaceful, and it has so many details to feast on.

I would buy it if you had made it a little smaller on the shirt. But still, good illustration!

Re: The Persistence of Memory
I totally dig this, Littleclyde. The play on the latin names is cool and all, but the image is very unusual and aesthetically pleasing all by itself.
It's a great example of how a derby theme can trigger original ideas that the artists would never have arrived at by themselves. GMV!

This shirt is amazing. My son's an oceanographer and this reminds me of what must be going on in his mind - I swear he can name almost every animal in the ocean. If I don't get this for him he'll feed me to his sharks. :o)

The hippocampus (a section of your brain partly responsible for long term memory) was named by Julius Caesar Aranzi b/c it looks like a seahorse. The name itself (hippocampus) means that in Latin. Some neuroscience trivia for ya ;)

I must've commented on the first entry, haha. Anyways, I love this a ton. It works sooo well and I love the design <3 <3 Also! I just went through the Learning and Memory section of my neuro class last week, nice timing lol ;)

I love everything about this design. Something about the image of the seahorse sleeping, to me, displays a great illustration of someone being at peace with their memories. It is a beautiful idea and the artwork is amazing. I want this shirt so badly. Just a few more votes...
