I think it would be cool if you could see the heart, lungs, etc. through the glasses like they were looking through the shirt wearer's body.

Well, I didn't put the perspective as seeing through the chest area for a couple of reasons.

First was perspective. I put the perspective as the reverse of what "X Ray Glasses" normally are. As if you were seeing into the head instead of out.

Second, it was actually part of a different and larger design than this one. For time constraints, I decided to nix the rest of it and just go with the glasses. For the record, this is what I was doing before I simplified it.

quite cool, this. the glasses looking at brains inside the chest, not so much. just kind of leaves me scratching my head.

Definitely not something I could wear, I'm afraid. Being female, I'd feel like a walking mammogram.

Yeah, it doesn't take long reading some of the common reasons people don't like or wouldn't wear/vote for a shirt. Of course, the female anatomy is definitely one of the more common ones for obvious reasons.

In doing this shirt, I did try and put the design up far enough in hopes that this would not be an issue. Unfortunately it still seems that I either made the design too large or failed in the placement for some of the ladies and for that I do apologize. Just know that I did try and take that into consideration.

Ok, you have piqued my interest. I am now wondering what it is about my design that would be grounds for "rejection".

It is, as explained earlier, a design of what it would be like to be wearing "x ray glasses" and instead of looking out of them, you would be able to look into the head and see ones brain. This is not a "mammo" themed design, nor was the premise "mammo" centric.

Reason for the size, is so that a person could make out the "brain" portion from a reasonable distance without having to be too close to "get" the design.

Reason for placement, is because a direct "chest" placement is the acceptable place for the majority of the designs that people tend to vote/purchase. Also, I did note that I did try to put the design as high as possible to avoid this symmetrical design from being placed directly on a womans "chest" area.

The reason I'm explaining all this is not to seem defensive or angry in any way shape or form, because I am not. Rather, I do not wish to have my design nor myself possibly interpreted as being chauvinistic or disrespectful in any way towards women.

If it is to be rejected, so be it, that's fine. I just don't want it to be rejected for the wrong reasons.

It's not the theme. Woot has rejected designs in the past for placing 2 items on the chest that would accentuate a woman's front condition.

Woot has various unstated rules that we have learned about over time and with experience. This one is the "Placement" rule. A shirt would get rejected and the reason would simply state: Placement.

That said, woot has not been rejecting many shirts lately. I think they are waiting to see which ones get into the fog, and then only addressing those for whatever they consider "acceptable".

Ah, thanks for the clarification. I didn't notice that they did this practice. I see now what you were getting at. Thanks again for the clarification and for not taking my concern/post the wrong way.

Well, there's the placement issues rejection that was foretold not so long ago. Not only have I now noticed it, but I've had the misfortune of being in direct fire of it.

Oh well, I hope the seven people who voted for this design aren't going to be too upset over this. Back to the drawing board... literally.
