This is ridiculously cute! I hope this prints. My husband wanted the original duck and cover shirt, but I think this would be a good substitute. Also. I might have to buy one of these for our daughter.

Hahaha, yeah Drakxxx sent me this duck sketch for fun and I was typing something like "I don't think it even needs anything else" when the idea hit. "You HAVE to put in little army men!"

Duck And Cover is back! :P And yes, I think we might continue the story until one of them prints or we cause DUCKS to be banned.

This is by far my favorite for this derby so far, and of course anything I see from Drakxxx I like, even the darker stuff, I'm bummed when your ideas don't print.

I picture the conversation went something like this:

Dx: Man, I still can't believe our otterific duck design last time lost. I don't even know if I want to enter this week's derby.

CD: Seriously. Voters are so weird.

Dx: I mean, that design was cute, which everyone likes, but dark, which is the style I like. It managed the best of both worlds and still didn't get printed.

CD: Seriously. Voters are so weird.

Dx: What's this week's theme?

CD: "Rainy Day"

Dx: Damn. I don't know what to do. Whatever, I should just enter a freakin' otterific duck design again just for spite.

CD: Yeah, like a cuter one with little army toys instead of army men, since apparently just having real army characters makes it too dark for everyone.

Dx: Yeah, seriously. It's not like anything's stopping me. What are they going to say? "Hey Drakxxx, why did you choose you're design today?" and I'll say "Because it's a duck. Whatever."

CD: Yeah, whatever.

Dx: ...

CD: ...

Dx: I have a great idea.

Obviously I say this all with <3 because this, like your last and completely different duck design, is excellent.

I don't believe it . . . normally I can spot a Drakxxx design from the thumbnail, but this one doesn't bear any resemblance to his normal style or content. SHOCKING. I do like it though.

Hilarious. It's always fun see a recurring character! Soon we will see all the seedy secrets that duck is hiding as the story continues to unravel. I'm just not buying his innocent little act this week. There's evil in this duck. I will not be fooled.

I would never have thought this was from the best twosome in business - you really had me fooled! Love the design gentlemen and the colors. But you must make this at the very least a trilogy if not a longer series. Good luck and I sure hope this one prints. I'll be in for one for sure.

Loved duck and cover, and this is a riot too. I doubt i'd get it individually (though if I had a kid? definitely), however if woot printed a set with this and duck and cover - i wouldn't be able to resist. otterific work as always you two.
