Did you make that up or is this a reference to something I'm not cool enough to know about?

Well, that's brilliant! Do they still have sandwiches there?

It's a Star Trek reference, but I do not see the theme here. Where is the methodology?

Can I get a towel??

I refuse to answer on the grounds that I don't know the answer.

In all fairness, do you see the theme anywhere?

I think OdRoc's taco, Chump's Teddy Disection and Tgentry's fropig are all a good start, those three off the top of my head fit the theme really well.

Ok, sure. Actually, I really like the Teddy Disection. Tell me what Order of Operations, Made of Carbon, Double Helix, 5 Second Rule, and X=PB+J have to do with the scientific method. Those are just the examples that are in the fog. Now, I like some of these shirts. I voted for Made of Carbon and 5 second rule. They still don't have much to do with the theme. Double Helix uses an image that most people associate with science, specifically biology and forensics, but the theme wasn't science, it is the scientific method. There are also a huge number of entries that don't seem to understand the difference between the scientific method and a mathematical equation, as exemplified by Order of Operations and X=PB+J. Then there are the shirts that have nothing to do with either one, like 5 Second Rule. To be completely honest, I wouldn't buy this shirt. I'm not a huge Star Trek fan. If you are going to include something as off topic as 5 Second Rule, though, I don't see why this one would get eliminated. I'm not saying that I want to see the above mentioned shirts get eliminated, I really hope some of them print. I just think that the eliminations need to be applied more universally and objectively. Where this derby seems to be letting damn near everything in, we have also seen the opposite happen in the past. A great example is Derby #157 (Reinterpreting Famous Art Titles), which saw many hotly contested rejections. I dunno folks, I'm not a moderator, I'm not a designer, I'm just a guy that likes wearing these shirts. I just think the rules could be applied more evenly.
