After years of scientific pursuit the boys, sick of the smell of rubber and rats, got together to form the band. Secretly longing for some action. Chuck could play a mean bass. And surprisingly Sig had rhythm. Tom is electrifying on the lead guitar. While Ivan is there to play the ever loving cow bell. And of course headlining is the man with the golden voice Albert Funky Funky Funkenstein! Put your hands together and make some noise! I can't hear you!!!

Pavlov on the cow bell- I totally get it! But for the record, I hate Sigmund Freud. Though, no one ever likes bass players...

Would be really funny with Steven Hawking on the 'talk box.' But this is positively algebraic. I love it.

Actually Darwin's on Bass and Freud's on drums. I'm not a fan of Freud myself but his look is funny to draw. Try googling pics of him and you will see what I mean. And those are his real glasses. In pics I saw they look like gag ones.

I thought of Steven Hawkings but he seemed more new school. Maybe he can be in a "boy band" version with Carl Saegan and other comtempories.

Pairing Pavlov/bell and Edison/Electric guitar was inspired. And Freud really reminds me of another famous drummer for some reason: Animal. Nicely done. I hope it passes the theme muster!

Inspired is an understatement. When the idea hit me I felt giddy like a school girl havin' a Beiber-attack! Things clicked and flowed. as to the theme issue I think its so left field from what others are doing that it hits the theme straight on... but that's my opinion. Glad you like the design.

However, I don't see how a bunch of scientists relates to the scientific method. Sort of like the cartoon beakers and such. Sciency and cool, for sure. Demonstrating the scientific method? Not so much.

This week, show us your take on the Scientific Method. Maybe you'll attest to the value of repeatable results, show us an experiment in motion, or just cram a beaker onto a cute fuzzy animal design and say, 'IT'S TOTALLY SCIENCE!'

My take on "The Scientific Method" is that of a rock band.
I'm glad you like the design even though you feel its not on theme.

Saved the image and put it as my desktop. If I can't get it in shirt form, I at least will have it every time I log on.

If it doesn't print here I will try my darn'dest to get it printed elsewhere because I really love this one personally. No need for back alley dealings or hiding from the N-a-z-i-s to get it!

EDIT: Here's a link to a tweaked version of the design. I hadn't finished the 16x20 when submitting because its really hard working at that size on my computer. My widdle computer can't handle it. But I worked on it last night and change some things a bit... things which make it better. Let me know what you think.

Great shirt. Like your science selection as well (maybe could have had Marie Curie on a stripper pole for full on misogynistic effect).

Also, does anyone else out there have an uncontrollable hatred for the term 'otterific'? Is it just me? It kinda reminds me of ewoks and the whole reason I decided to enlist in the Imperial Troopers (aside from the sweet jet bike).

hahaha otterific. I'm in a polymer engineering and science phd program, and at the annual holiday party a few of the professors always play together as the band "Poly and the Mers" I thought it was a joke the first time I saw a flyer, but they are pretty serious about it... lol

Hey guys and gals wanted to give a big thank you everyone voting.
I appreciate the support so much.
I hope it continues.

I don't have the internet presence that many of the other artists have such as RamyB or others which seem to have a strong following since they have been doing this much longer than me.

So that's where your help comes in.
