It's just morbid enough to love.

It just bothers me that there are flowers blooming underground... I am not botanist (or whatever a flower scientist is called) but I always thought that the blooming had to do with sunlight.

Put the euphemism is "pushing up daisies" not "pushing up carnations." I guess this also kinda answers someone else's complaint of the flowers blooming underground.

I thought so, too. I think it was submitted and rejected from a previous derby (maybe visual puns? I don't remember).

Have absolutely seen this in a previous derby, but I still like it. Pushing up daisies is a great expression, and I love morbid shirts.

Yes, this was submitted to Visual Puns, and was rejected. Unlike with the rejected Patrickspens design from this derby, there is precedent for Woot allowing prior rejects to be directly resubbed.

I said it back then, I think, and I'll say it again. I really don't know what to think of this! Part of me loves it. Part of me cringes at the subterranean flowers and the overall morbidity. I like dark, but... I dunno. Not often a design has me so on the fence. Good on ya, Patrick!

I like it a lot! I think the dead guy looks kinda cute. For some reason, the problem I have with this design is the background-stuff behind the flowers. I think it looks kinda weird. But I don't know what I would suggest instead.
