Didn't know that fear existed...

I really wish this was placed in the lower left corner, but that just my personal taste.

Still extremely great job and very creative.

Wow, I wanted to do Leukophobia which is the exact opposite to what this panda wants. I tend to be a sucker for designs that incorporate the shirt color in this way(and the reverse).

If the panda fears color, shouldn't it keep painting? And the white on the wall doesn't look like it was applied with that roller.

Oh, you got me there..... He was actually using his superawesome supersecretpower to paint the wall white. In fact, Mr Panda's superawesome supersecretpower does not require any application of any roller or even any paint at all to turn the wall white! The buckets are the to distract you from the dark real truth that lies underneath.

This picture was taken when he was about to applied his superawesome supersecretpower after taking his green-tea break. You need to understand that having enough green tea is crucial for any creature with superpower.

This is amazing! I can think of two other people besides me who would stab THE PANTS off the design.

That's kinda the point of the composition, and why the panda looks so distressed. Having gone through all of his paint, he faces the cruel realization that no matter what he does, he will be stuck in a world of color.

This is some sort of metaphor for Communist China.

Just kidding, stab the design.

Yes, that cruel realization on the panda's face is well-executed, but check those paint cans--a couple still have paint! And it would have been more effective if the roller marks looked more like roller marks, and not some stylized streaking.

Is this supposed to be on red? For some reason it looks almost salmon colored in my browser.

I really like this design a lot I just wish it was on red rather then orange. I'm just not a fan of that color on me.

I definitely voted for this. Very very cool. I also think it would be better if the design was off center though. But that wouldn't stop me from buying it. Nice design!

Very nice, and I'm not even a panda fan. My only quibble is that there are an awful lot of paint cans for that relatively small painted area. Still, solid concept.

Like the colour contrast on this, but looks a bit too much like a Banksy redux for my taste... Nice thought on the theme though.

I don't mean to be that annoying guy that points out something that no one else has noticed but....here we go.... if he fears color shouldn't he be painting everything black instead of white. i always learned that white was the presence of all color and black was the total absence. still looks great though...i just wanted to point that out....and probably be hated in the process but c'est la vie.

What you are referring to is the way light works. Not pigments. (granted we couldn't see pigments without light, but you know) White light is really all the colors together. Black is when there is no color. But paint doesn't work that way. You can mix every can of paint you can find at Home Depot together and it will never make white. (all of this knowledge thanks to Ms. Frizzle and the Magic School Bus)

On a different note, I personally love the excess of paint cans. It communicates desperation. Or maybe it's just very visually pleasing. Whatev. Great jarb. jorb. jeeeeooorrb.

I didn't spot it in the thread, only questions. So can we clearify - this is on Woot orange, correct?

kidsaretheworst wrote:it looks orange...

Now that I see it at work it does look more orange, on my home monitor it looked darker so it resembled red. Clarification would be nice, but I'll buy it regardless!

Thanks for clearing this out. For me I see white as the non-color. Like in "blank canvas" - white canvas. "blank paper" - white paper. So white = blank
