This reminds me of a shirt that my husband bought a couple of years ago - it had a turtle looking into a grenade after he'd pulled out the pin. I'm not complaining or throwing the "similar shirts exist" argument out there - I'm betting he'd like this shirt, too.

SG, I think I become more and more of a fan with each passing derby. This is zombtastic. You are quite the expression master. You convey so much in the expressions of your characters, it's just amazing.

I have that shirt, it's called "Curious little Turtle". I have another with two kitten's playing with a grenade and one has pulled the pin. I believe it's called "Adorable disaster". This shirt right up there with them. +1

I was going to take the opposite route and say that the image is strong enough on it's own that the background is superfluous.

At least the pin is still in.

@miquelfire, you may be onto something. There does seem to be a cruel streak in my designs ever since Cuteness Overflow. Haha.

@paigeg & chumpmagic, I knew the biting action is what would make this work or not so I did my best to emphasize it. Glad you like it!

@scionofjubal, I kept the background quite faint so that it added a little foresty depth but wouldn't fight with the very solid foreground elements. :^)

Great job yet again. I think maybe make the BG a little brighter/more solid next time though or just leave it out. I hope that squirrel has a good dental plan, he's gonna crack a tooth

Haha yes really As a recent example, your vampire photo booth shirt had SO much expression in it. The looks on his face were priceless. You could tell that he was really freakin out, hahaha. You have a way with faces, and you keep getting better and better. It's fun to see your work progress with each derby I really hope this one prints. It's just great!

I have that shirt. Wore it yesterday... it's getting worn out. I think I need to replace it with this one.

I don't quite get it . . . is it 'cool' because there is a 'grenade' and a 'cute squirrel?' Is it some kind of irony? I don't understand the metaphor, either: the Mk 2 looks like a pineapple, not a nut . . .
