Turducken.

6 colors on brown.

I took the summer/early fall off from tshirts. Figured "Meat" Derby was a good one to return on

Re: Turducken

Turducken is actually the exact name of a variety of cat food ... I had no idea the company uses such rare birds to feed cats!;)

Nice textures, especially on the body.

I don't think it absolutely needs the label, but it's still my early favorite of the designs.

This turducken has one month to live.

I don't think it needs the definition, but I do love this. I would by a whole flock!

Skirochester! How long has it been?

Very sweet design. I always thought a turducken was some kind of concentric roast bird, but this makes more sense. -_^

Great to have you back Ski. Looks great, I always like your sketchy style. I would not want this on a shirt, but the execution is to good to not vote

I love this! But I would love it more if the label were in front of him instead of behind. It kinda looks like he's pooping it.

thanks everyone! and I went back and forth on adding the dictionary tag. but thought it added another fun element to the design. And sorry infinity... but I like it in that negative space. although I can see your point

That's ok, he's still awesome.

Re: Turducken

Ohhh...it's described as "A turducken is a dish consisting of a de-boned chicken stuffed into a de-boned duck, which itself is stuffed into a de-boned turkey. The word turducken is a portmanteau of turkey, duck, and chicken or hen."

I can't wait for Thanksgiving! Quick, somebody cook this up. I really do like your design, the colors are quite pretty and there's a good amount of detail.

that's pretty awesome. I also think it doesn't need the definition, but it's still great

my thought exactly.

i really love the illustration, but am distracted by that definition. i would love it more and probably buy it if the definition was nixed.

Hmmm... My local gorcery carries turduckens this time of year. I think I gotta talk the huby into nixing the plain turkey and havin' us one of these bad boys.
Oh, and nice shirt!

Tried this at one of our vendors...it was amazing (not a full version, they had an R+D version that was sliced...incredible!).

If this wins I will probably send them one and maybe keep one for me too! Great design.

I remember this one shirt on red (or cranberry?) with a waiter carrying a platter with a giant steak. I think it was yours... I really liked that one. Any chance you can remix it and resub it? This turducken is pretty great too, but not my style.

Cool design . . . very different style than what I usually see here. Voted.

And Turducken is delicious!

Is this served with turkey gravy, orange sauce or stuffing?

Re: Turducken

The placement of the torn paper with text suggests that the turkey is defecating, to my eye.

Maybe move it to below the turkey? Otherwise, I love this awesome gourmet culinary reference!

Why not put the text to the right? That'd get rid of the negative side space issue, but rectify the pooping illusion.

good memory eHalcyon. I actually thought of that shirt when I saw this derby. wasn't sure how to change it enough to resub it. hopefully it'll print someday, somewhere.

And sorry for the text-tag haters on this one. I'm not much of a resub-er. I like to take one shot and try my luck.

Thanks for all the votes though! Lot of great shirts this week. Anxious to see what 3 print!!
