Those lines where on the template

You can remove both those lines and the shirt color samples while putting your design into the template.

Yep, it's not always easy, but you can do it. The shirt colors are easy - just turn off that layer. I struggle more with the SPOOKTACULAR! guides, though.
Who'll tell us the easy way to get rid of them?

Thanks, I'll make sure they are gone next time.

Although not an official woot template, these ones are popular on here and look pretty good. So if you check out this thread, you can download the entire shirt template pack http://shirt.woot.com/Forums/ViewPost.aspx?PostID=2320388
If you download the full psd file linked to at the top of the post, then it also contains separate layers for shadows and hilites to add that extra level of realism.

Does that link still work for you? It's not working for me, though it might be my office filters...
(shhhh, don't tell on me!)

Interesting. It no longer works for me either, but I know that's where I got the one I currently use.
There's this other template here http://www.mediafire.com/?3yd332u29xi
It's a different one, but still good.
I still have that original zip file locally if anyone wants me to email it to them. I fear if I post it on my personal site all my bandwidth will be eaten up.
EDIT: I went ahead and uploaded it here http://www.mediafire.com/?zc7hal8d8l30bi8 if you're interested. Also here http://www.4shared.com/file/BKmrS-eL/_wootshirtcomp.html

Re: falcondog
Well, I hope I can have more luck next derby. Wher can I find how to do the color fade with the dotes. I think If I emphased the picture with a background I could have done better. People really like color here. my picture looked to fake with the colors I added. I wish I knew how to blend.
Re: falcondog
Even if the falcon got the hot dog, do you think he could eat it all?

It's called a halftone, and strongly discouraged by Woot, yet widely used.
There are a number of helpful threads with advice, tutorials, etc., here.
But, I liked your drawing as-is.
