As always, I am a sucker for circular designs! Great concept and great execution!

Re: WILD LIFE SUPPORT

Trying to build awareness of the Arctic Wildlife Refuge. I know its not a happy joy-joy design because I felt the theme's inspiration was more serious then cutesy and full of jokes.
If you want to check out more detail click here
Please feel free to comment and open to any and all feedback good or bad. And if you like the design feel free to share with others to get the word out about the design and the need for support for the wildlife and resources we are slowly losing in the Arctic.

This is probably true. I know the Sierra Club has those people that go around and knock on your door and play the sympathy card, trying to use guilt as a way to persuade people to care (my roommate did it for them for 1 day then realized he didn't want to be that "guy"). Personally, I think trying to make people feel guilty (for not caring or for not helping) is a horrible, widely used method. I presume, the main confusion is that these groups think that people are unaware when in fact, almost everyone is aware of this issue (if they have any form of media) but do not truly care. I chose to show something beautiful in hopes people would start caring on there own free will. Every donation I have ever made, I went to the organization on my own terms. Not once have I donated when an organization has come to me. Awareness isn't the issue anymore in my opinion; now its a lack of interest, consideration, and heart.

Sorry for the rant... touchy subject I guess.

Haha. Nothing other than you are probably giving sierra club exactly what they want... then I just started trailing off in a chumpmagic ramble

Also, I should change my original words in my last sentance to awareness the problem *anymore*, thanks to devoted organization and groups

I should also make it clear that I wasn't targeting your art. Art should have a message, and the deeper the message the better. Just basically saying I thought the opposite of you due to my encounters with aggressive environmental activism.

glad you posted this because I was worried that was what you were thinking.
And I uderstand that a group's tactics do tend to lose the message that is in need of being stated. My hope is this design is not lumped with said groups tactics but stands on its own and doesn't come across being forced down throat.

No not at all. By no means is wearing this shirt forceful; it's a passive approach to awareness, and if nothing else, it at least shows that you care!

Sorry for the confusion, one thought trigger another, and I went off on a rant...

Also, I love how you related the issue to humans. That has a strong effect. Making the issue more personal is far more effective than anything else in my opinion.

Thanks for the supportive comments.
If it doesn't print here I hope I can get it printed elsewhere if not post it @ my redbubble store.

Thanks you for the loving comments. I initially was going to do seperate colors but decided against it restraining myself to just the white.

Thank you both for the comments and support.

I like it. It's nice to see something with an on-topic message.

It's also nice to see something that is the exact opposite of Ramyb's cutesy crap.

Re: WILD LIFE SUPPORT

My personal favourite. It's the only one in the top which in fact is taking serious the derby's topic. I hope it gets print.

Thank you for the comments. I kind of had the feeling that the serious approach wasn't going to fly with most voters who by history tend to lean towards cute or funny designs.
But I appreciate all of your support.

Thanks you! I'm glad to hear that. If it doesn't print here I hope to have it printed elsewhere after 60 days. Thanks for the comment.
