Re: Balance

This just looks like something tacky from the Oriental Gift Shop at my local mall. I'll pass, sorry.

HAH! I totally knew this was either PS or "he & she who shall not be named"

"You can't just dress a Minion like Spock, and add a caption that says "Logical Me". There's a prison for people like that. Below my house."

Seriously. C'mon, Patrick. This reached into the tackiness grab bag with a hand covered in honey. Superfluous glow? Check. Doubly superfluous fog? Check. Skulls? Check.

Never mind the Yin Yang, which, on t-shirts, usually comes off as a rich man's Ed Hardy.

I wish I could do brushwork like this. Your designs always seem to have such movement.

Agreed, not to mention the iffy cultural appropriation.

Well, I don't know about other people, but I'm loving it.

I had something to say, but I seem to have forgotten it.

Re: Balance

Totally radical man... NOT... Jeesh... I hated the plethora of the yin-yang in the 80's / 90's and I dislike it still... Cliché ....

I don't know what's more shocking though, a design featuring a yin-yang in the fog, or such an established artist riding the dead horse to said fog....

I normally appreciate all of Patrickspens designs... but to quote an old Scandanavian saying... This one is clearly "the türd in the pünch bowl"...

I like tha patrick tries new styles - this reminds me of kharmazero's stuff.
I do not like that patrick uses so many stock brushes/cliparts.
Overall, his designs are appealing. Patrick, take my comments as constructive. Thx.

This is pretty darn cool. I love it when PS avoids "cute/playful" and goes for something that is just simplify beautiful! It always pleases and appeals to me.

Great work!

I actually don't think these are stock brushes. If you look closely you can see the slight wobble of the lines. Photoshop doesn't smooth it's brushes very well, so hand drawn things tend to have a tell-tale 'wobble' if you look closely. I wish they would fix that business, it is so frustrating.

Love the idea, but could the little circle bits inside each yin/yang be of the opposite color perhaps?

It's true, everything here was created from scratch. And yes Photoshop can be wobbly, but it was intentional in the "roots" in this design.

The roots look really nice. My only reason for pointing out the slight wobble was to demonstrate that this isn't stock art. It is really only noticeable to someone who's looking for it.

Re: Balance

I was REALLY hoping this one would hit the top 3.... was hoping to buy it. Not sure how a plain looking teapot can be better than this shirt, but....

Please throw it in the mix again if possible. I will definitely vote again for it.
