February 12th 1809. That fateful day.

In blue and orange

Check out Legend of the Elipsicon! I made it.

It's not super-saturated, but to my understanding, this brown is a shade of orange. I guess Woot will make the call. I couldn't bring myself to use anything brighter.

I like it! Honest Abe kicking ass is always welcome on a t-shirt.

For those who might be too young to know, that is Charles Darwin and Abe Lincoln depicted on the t-shirt. Both were born on the say day and same year on February 12th 1809.

Awesome shirt. I voted!

You are correct - brown is a shade of orange, alas woot is obviously using a narrower definition of the color.

It's been a while since I've mixed any pigments, but I'm sure that brown would be orange mixed with blue or any other color mixed with it's complement. So an orangey brown wouldn't amount to "orange".

Good point. Woot is using pigment based compliments rather than light based compliments.

This begs a the question a what point does orange start and stop being orange?
