All I can do when I look at this is utter a Keanu-esque "whoa".

Get this sucker into the fog.

Re: TREX THROUGH TIME

Nice action scene!

Topps (I think) had a trading card series back when I was a kid along a similar premise. Dinosaurs were coming into the present day through some time portal and slaughtering people.

Fantastic to see you guys back in action, literally. This one has a cool sense of a greater story. (Maybe the t-rex is looking for his little duck friend?) Very nice atmosphere and impressive red lighting on the characters.

Great job fellas. I really like the red lighting on the left side of the scene.

Re: TREX THROUGH TIME

Awesome! I just wish it was bigger on the shirt. I say this about the majority of your designs. There's so much detail that it's hard to see on such a small print. Especially on a WM shirt. Anyway, it's great, I'd love to have it as a poster.

Also, all these trex/time machine entries remind me of a favorite short story of mine, A Sound of Thunder, by Ray Bradbury. If I had any artistic ability at all, I do something about that story.

Re: TREX THROUGH TIME

Awesome execution and coloring, I love how scenic it is... it looks like a movie poster.

I'm a little bothered by the t-rex's anatomy, though. The head looks correct and carefully drawn, like it was heavily referenced, but the arms and legs are very wobbly and rushed-looking. It makes the head and limbs look like they're drawn in different styles. And there's no definition to the body, just a lot of texture.

Still, I really like this and I'm giving it a vote.

Thank you. And I understand your concern but we actually saw a T-Rekxxx once. He busted through our time portal. He looked just like this.

Re: TREX THROUGH TIME

Great illustration, but the color choices make it a bit muddy. The gray is somewhat dark, so the image doesn't have as much pop as it could.

I had those, too! The series was called "Dinosaurs Attack!" from 1988 and it was a spinoff of the "Mars Attacks" cards (the ones that Tim Burton based his movie on) from the 60's. You can check them out HERE.

And if anyone wants a stack of those Dinosaurs Attack cards, free, I'd love to get them out of my condo...

obligatory slightly more topical comment: I still want to buy Duck and Cover.

I voted for this the other day but didn't comment. I think this is one of my favorite pieces from you two. The colors and textures are great and I like how the T-Rex looks kinda like the old claymation dinos from the old "B" cinemas. Great campy feel. +1

Thanks for the support this week evreyone.

Glad you picked up on the B vibe tjost, it was definitely a mood we where hinting towards. The comparisons to the old Topps Dino Attack cards and the "My Science Project" movie are appreciated as well.

It is so frustrating each week to see amazing shirts like this lose, and garbage constantly win.

I wish on-demand shirt printing was cheap enough that I could order whatever I wanted. Instead I have to rely on the failure that is direct democracy.
