haven't we seen enough of the cupcake characters? I'm getting tired of recycled characters. Unless the idea is to win enough so that someone could wear your shirts like 3-4 days in a row and it would look like a comic strip. Outside that notion I think new characters are in order, not just dressed up differently cupcakes. Sorry, just my opinion.

I just noticed that the "Nuuude" cupcake in the Top 20 is by a different artist, but I never would've noticed it if I wasn't looking for an artist's page. Again, I can't do what ya'll can with a pen and paper, it's amazing. I'm just tired of seeing the same kinda things I guess. Cheers all the same.

This one's a collab between Walmazan and me. He did the linework on the characters. Confusion over!

I'm with you on the repetitive designs thing, but I think the cupcakes have to be in this one. No other dessert is paranoid androidier than a cupcake. This is a proven fact.

Thanks everyone for the liking. It was such a pleasing thing to work with Walmazan. I'm glad it's at least somewhat of a success. Huzzah.

I have been in love with Boots ever since "Something I Must Do." It was my first of many Woot shirts and I still love it. Now Walmazan has captured my heart; and a collab of these two is like heaven! Great work you two! GMV

I agree, somewhat. Personally, I just have a natural aversion to anthropomorphised baked goods (or any food, for that matter). That's not to say that the artist -- or in this case, artists -- aren't any less talented at what they do. It's just not my cup of tea.

However, at the end of the day, people vote for what they like and can relate to. Until the majority of the population gets sick on humanized sweets, it's a good business practice to give the people what they want. -:]

That being said, I do like the little math bubble over the cookie's head!

It's not the characters on the shirts, but what the artists do with them. If they're as creative and charming as what BootsBoots and Walmazan do, I'm all for tons of cupcake shirts. For that matter, if woot printed nothing but Robbie Lee's incredible robot shirts for a month, it would be a better set of 30 consecutive shirts than they've ever printed. When the designs themselves are boring and lazy, that's when problems start.

Hmmm... Shirt's message is ambiguous and truly DOA, play on words is dated, and I'm afraid recreating high school with baked goods just isn't shirt worthy, no matter how 'cute' the cupcakes are, or how much chocolate chips happen to look like zits. Far better art than I could ever accomplish though, just wish those talents were used for something a little less meh.
