Hell yeah! Unfortunately none of these sophisticated English robot shirts ever seem to print. What is wrong with people!?

It's nice to know that robots can enjoy lo-fi like the rest of us.

I love the hissing popping background noise!

When doing the line work for this, I had The Ballad of the Sneak playing for audio inspiration

Have you trademarked the Robot yet? :D
Your best designs include him and I'd love to see one print!

It is a very nice design but robots are pop culture related and I predict the rejection hammer for this one.
TGentry said they are taking no prisoners this week! No matter how sweet they are!

I liked this design when I saw it in the prethread, but I really like the placement on the shirt. It looks so proper in that corner, and I love successful abnormally placed design! In short, I love it!

I'm sure kevlar had that style before the movie came out (and it is his style it seems after viewing his past entries). The trap jaw robot is not a new thing and is definitely not unique to the movie robots... I think he's good.

Thanks for the compliment; I hope steampunk robots, particularly one of my own design, haven't risen to the level "pop culture" just yet .

Thanks chump--what movie are we talking about exactly?

I thought it was the movie "robots"... I may be wrong, but the claim was robots is pop-culture. Maybe they just meant robots in general. Now i am confused.

Great job! I'm glad you played with it 'til it worked. I love the "smoke" notes! (I assume he's listening to some smoky jazz, or something of that nature...)

Haha, yeah, a lot of early votes followed by a wall of nothingness seems to be my M.O. here. Nevertheless, I'm extremely pleased and thankful the for support I've received!

Glad you like "Off the Clock," I'm thinking about redrawing it and submitting it elsewhere. It's got some technical issues with it that are too time consuming to fix.

Definitely a handsome design.

Did you invent this 'bot for your shirts or have you been drawing him for a while? He's a great character. :^)

Thanks!

I started drawing him in earnest for my shirts, but I can go back in old school notes and find lots of doodles with different versions of him.

But he's intentionally generic--I can get a lot more emotion out of him by not complicating his structure. Doesn't mean I can't turn him into a dapper dandy though.
