In for one if this prints. Then I'll have an excuse to find some spicy food restaurants to wear it to.

I don't understand why they have a distressed look on their faces. IMHO the hotter ones would have looked cooler if they had evil grins, and the less hot ones looked jealous of the others.

Makes sense to me, since the scale is pretty much a measurement of how much pain you're going to be in, and the peppers look like they're in varying degrees of pain.

That is exactly what I intended.

I'm a Christmas Unicorn! In a uniform made of gold, with a billy-goat beard, and a sorcerer's shield, and mistletoe on my nose!

I loved this shirt the first time around, and I still love it! Here's hoping it prints, then in for two - one for me, one for the hubby.

I can't tell you how happy I am that this is getting lots of votes. I talk about this in my classes all the time about capsaicin- would be the perfect shirt to wear to class!

Haha, for some reason, this made me giggle. If I walked into a grocery store and saw an employee wearing this, I'd buy more produce on awesome principle alone. -xD

This is by far my favorite design I've seen so far (not very long, as you can see). I bought a shirt for my sister just so I could vote for this one in the fire derby.

In the fog! Let's hope it sticks (and hopefully skyrockets to top three!). Still would be my first woot for myself.

Am I the only one who finds not only the topic dull (I like spicy food, but don't need to wear that on my chest) but the graphic itself weak? I am simply baffled by this and Unluckiest Ninja. Neither of them look wearable.

For me, it's the rendering. Not clean. Kudos on the idea. But It's not working. Not for me.

I mean the complete lack of line work. There needed to be something here.
Adder: INSIDE voice. And, for the record, I LIKE spicy food on my chest.
Wait, I mean, spicy food DESIGNS. Yeah - DESIGNS. Otherwise, that's just WRONG. Right?

Schrobblehead's style works well for this shirt. Sorry for being artistically illiterate, but I can't really expand further.

I think having the text (as shown in the picture) would add a lot to the shirt, that is, explain its purpose. Still like it as-is.

Also orange and red on brown appeals to me.

Indeed the scale is not something I would feel inclined to wear, but I do think the illustration's very element fits the topic. The theme centers around heat, which by association brings to mind the features of fire-- which I venture to say seem in an optical way to be irregular, and jagged. So I think it works well to not be a "clean" (as someone else described) precise and repetitious design. Perhaps that was not what you meant...

Anyhow, Unluckiest/unstealthiest ninja doesn't appeal to me in ANY way... But appearantly it does to others, and I guess I'm glad for them (altho it takes some fun away from myself if they win

I think that's what was bugging me about the thumbnail, and I hadn't ever (apparently) clicked on this design until today because of it.

Though, I like it better as a whole and would probably pick it up for a friend if it printed.

I'm definitely in for one. This would be perfect to wear at the next BBQ/Chili cookoff competition.

Paige, the asinine pointless criticism thing kind of works for Adder. for you, not so much. It comes across as passive agressive and kind of petty, not crazed passionate idealistic critic (though Adder's decision to pick at one of the few interesting designs fogged is a bit of a mystery).

The way the cartoonists among y'all draw thick heavy lines around everything would just ruin this design.

I love hot sauce and this is a great representation of the faces that I make when downing the hot stuff. Print it and I will buy one!

I know this entry is almost a year old but I just stumbled upon it, and I sure wish it had printed!

I've done some of the spicy food challenges in the area including the Phaal curry challenge at Brick Lane in the city. This would have been awesome!!
