So, I didn't have enough time to put towards this, and I think the design suffered. But here it is anyway. It will probably be rejected, mine always are.

Would make for a hilarious woman's shirt considering globe placement.
And the fail of this was predicted in scripture (i.e. the pre-derby thread)

Yeah, guess I should have read the thread.

hehe, "globe placement".

Thanks for at least some words of encouragement, I haven't really gotten any of that from anyone else here. Clicky much?

You're guaranteed a rejection for any religious themed or culturally insenitive work (check the India derby for examples). There was discussion about Zombie Jesus, but everyone knew it was a lost cause and didn't bother.

I wouldn't say it's all that Cliquey here. There's a lot of good talent and strong submissions that don't even get very far, so the competition is obviously fierce.

This is the easiest joke to make, and you failed miserably. Religious people need to be constantly reminded that they are not immune to scrutiny by others. Shame you had the balls to try, but a bigger shame that you missed it.

this is such a common joke, it's even referenced more than once in Futurama.

I believe it's cliquey, duh!

Just kidding. I actually kind of liked it, but I guess Jesus is famous or something. Better luck next time.

But was Lazarus the first zombie? Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead before He was crucified.

Agreed. I wish I had had more time to put into the design. I guess I'll just have to where the shame for a bit. Thanks for the comment though.

Oooh! Good point. Should have gone that route, though, it probably would have been rejected too. Heaven forbid we poke fun. Ooops, I said "Heaven".

There are tons of jokes about Jesus, God, and Christians, and I think that us "religious people" you speak of take it in stride. But, consider for a moment how the focus is almost always focused towards the "passive" Christians.

People seem to think twice when it's mohammad or allah that they poke fun of. People are scared to make fun because of the retaliation that might occur.

I'm glad this shirt got rejected. If it hadn't and I happened to see it, we would have some serious problems.

"Religious people need to be constantly reminded that they are not immune to scrutiny by others." --- And don't ever think for a minute that you are immune from people that have a strong belief in something. Not all of us are passive.

I would totally wear something like this. Am I a heretic or do I just have a good sense of humor?
