Love this. Really liking how you did that red dress. My only issue is that is looks like the queen of hearts is to the side of the mirror (her right foot seems to be at the corner of the frame), staring at the frame if not the wall. It seems like perspective of the mirror if off a tad; it should come more towards the viewer imo. Regardless, this is still cool.

The rendering of the fabric of her/their dress(es) is awesome! However, I feel like the Queen of Heart's body isn't turned quite the right way or positioned correctly for that reflection. Maybe that's just me though...

I think it's the placement of the mirror that is causing the positioning of the queens to feel just a hair off from where it should be. It feels, to me at least, like the mirror should be scooched slightly to the left and away from us to make the image just right.

Regardless though, the character design and detail on this one is pretty darn cool and it has my vote.

Just when I thought you were getting into a design rut you put this out. I did not expect to see your name up there when I clicked. As others have said, it's not something I myself would wear but it's gorgeous nonetheless. Nicely done!

thanks for the comments! as some have mentioned there is some perspective and positioning distortion. just wanted to say that it was intentional so that the design layout was even and so the characters shared about 50/50 of the space. I was hoping that pushing space around a little would benefit the design.

Wow. . .this is beyond amazing. Definitely caught my eye and a sure purchase from me!

I like a lot of patrickspens' shirts, but I hope this one doesn't print. There are so many great shirts this derby, actual wearable shirts. Sometimes patrickspens shirts come off as anime-store T-Shirts where it's essentially a poster smacked on a t-shirt. Brown, really? Brown for this? I think the brown looks pretty bad, and the design gets so close to the neck. Would YOU wear this shirt, patrickspens?

Good call - I think asphalt would look GREAT. And blue would be way better than brown. But the asphalt would work best bc it's most similar to the silvery colour of mirror.

Also, I really like the color it's done on. Gray would be too plain and I think blue would clash. I think this shade is very complimentary...not sure why others dislike it so much.

I love all of your work.
These Queens are lovely, I especially love the Queen of Hearts and have been wishing to see her face. It took me this long to accept that I AM seeing her face, as reflected by the other Queen.
