If my origami dragon design wins I'm donating half my prize to Japan as a finders fee for inspiration. :-)

You know ... you could have just donated without telling anyone. But then you wouldn't have gotten the votes to get yourself that still-substantial $500, at the expense of the Japanese people.

Rock on! I hope this one gets printed. And plus the promise of charity? Vote vote vote!

I'm okay with getting flamed. I forgot how some people react to these things. I've spent the entire semester involved in multiple fundraisers at school including selling origami folds for donations (hence the inspiration). I wasn't trying to be a jerk about anything. However I can't stop people from interpreting it however they wish. :-\

Oh well.

What would happen if the dragon tried to breathe fire? Would it catch fire and die? Or is it fire-proof paper? Great Shirt anyway.

Epic comment is epic. Now I want to see him breathing confetti on the shirt!

GMV even without the confetti though. =D I see myself buying one if it prints. Good luck!

I wish the design was just a little bigger on the shirt, but it still has my vote! Very cute!

When I saw the original title in that huge list, I hoped someone would render this very idea. Well done!

Great minds and all that. :-)

I thought about that. Not really sure why I offset it.

"At the expense of"? Really? How does that work?

Its a great design, I love it and it likely would have won on it's own. Sure, knowing that voting on it means a good chance of $500 going to the Japanese is going to buy it more votes, but at least that way the deal is sealed.

What if he / she hadn't said anything and somehow lost? Wouldn't THAT be at the expense of the Japanese people?

Clever idea! Don't really understand the placement at all (but I just really like things centered.)

Me too, I would love this one if it was bigger and centered. I have a hard time with the offcentered ones... *squares up stuff on desk*

I looked up the shirt that was the inspiration for this one and it was really hilarious (http://shirt.woot.com/friends.aspx?k=14707). Makes me love this shirt even more. The paper dragon is adorable and I sure do hope he breathes red and orange confetti. ^_^

Yeah, the placement was rather arbitrary. I notice everyone seems to like placing objects heart side, so I tried the opposite. No real reason. I'm glad it doesn't turn you off so much that you didn't vote. :-)

As for this... hopefully I got your vote in spite of the preference. :-)

I'm just glad the guitar translates. I was worried it wouldn't be obvious.

I really really want to do another one for print or something with a confetti breathing one. I think it'd be very neat.

I do love the idea, I'd love to have a rock paper dragon sitting on my desk at work!

Oh man... I wish I could figure out a way to make one for real. That would be tops!

I think this one is officially out of the fog though. :-(

Who knows... 40 hours left? maybe...

I almost never design on green. I am ridiculously surprised it's as popular as it is.
