Correct me if I'm wrong -- but flats don't just go on the staff like that. They have to be modifying a note.

You are correct sir. I kind of wish this shirt had about half as many lines of music since it just has one bird.

As a musician, this annoys me. The flats are randomly strewn on the staffs, the stems are only correct about half the time, and there are no measures. In the future I would suggest using an actual piece of music for reference, because this really does not look like one.

I love this website! ^^

Love the concept, but as the others mentioned, it would be much better if it were just a few lines of music and if the music was done properly. It'd be really clever if you came up with a good song related to the shirt's theme and used that song as the image (though this might be copyright infringement?).

I'd vote for this if the music weren't nonsense. You could use some public domain music, right? Happy Birthday or something, it doesn't matter. I really like the concept.

Thats a good idea!

For people who can't read sheet music very well, theres no problem, just a mystery, gee, I wonder what this song is...but true musicians would really dig this shirt if the notes played a song.

I like the artistry of it and the little songbird.

(Just occurred to me, maybe the lack of song is ok because it's supposed to be a bird singing, not a human?Bearing in mind that I haven't read sheet music since 6th grade and my last violin lesson!)

This design looks like music to me. Nice placement of the bird and the imprint. +1

Re: Inspired by (Nature's Harmony)

i would never buy this. music is a language, and this is asinine jibberish. before making a shirt that features music, check out a music theory book.Unless it was meant to be jumbled and irreverent, in which case the staffs would be messy, the bird would have a bottle of tequila, or somehitng. but this just looks like an ignorant attempt at making something supposing to (and failing to) resemble a piece of music. Sorry, but i am truely offended at this mockery of something I've studied and felt passionate about since I was 5.

A few things bother me. The bird is beautiful --- perhaps too beautiful. Is it printable?
As others have said, the markings on the staffs are gibberish.
There's no actual harmony in the gibberish-markings, so the design doesn't actually fit the title.

And, hankescu, just FYI, Happy Birthday is still under copyright protection. But a person who knows even how to read music can put something together that looks like music and harmony, even if actually playing it would sound horrendous.
(A person who really knows music might even be able to chart a bird's song, which would not be copyright protected.)

Happy Birthday is very much NOT in the public domain.
