He'll be seeing double momentarily...
Love the shirt!
Re: Kabam!
It's almost like a Finding Technicolour redux. Really clean. Lovely work from you as always.
Re: Kabam!
This character looks just OSWALD the Lucky Rabbit by Ub Iwerks. Oswald was the original mickey.
Re: Kabam!
Ahhh, the good ol' days. When cartoon characters could club each other over the noggin, without fear of litigation.
Re: Kabam!
What's with his rainbow repelling tail? Is he farting rainbows because he's so happy maybe? lol
I love the action pose, I can just hear the big cartoon THWWOMP! and see the spinning stars and little birdies about to come. ![]()

Haha! I almost did a 3 panel design with the jump, the thwomp, and the birdies, but I thought that might be too much. I wanted to keep it simple (like the cartoons).
Thanks everyone. ![]()

Except, Oswald wore pants and shoes rather than the latex fetish suits these guys have chosen to sport.
KIDA26 wrote:Cute, but almost too Oswald the Luck Rabbit for me.
I looked at Oswald, they are similar in that they are black and white and have rabbit ears, but they all kind of looked the same back then. The heads are similar, but not the same, and from the neck down this character is nothing like Oswald at all.
It's a little too cute for my taste, but it's certainly not a rip-off.
Re: Kabam!
Too hard not to look at this and hear the whistle and hammer sound effect. Good job Boots!
Re: Kabam!
Kewl!
And this is a perfect example of a design that would (will?) look much better on silver than it would on heather gray. Clean lines, texture free shirt. Yep yep yep.
Re: Kabam!
Boots, this is really well done for how simple it is. Fits the classic merry melodies style cartooning perfectly. Great as always.
Re: Kabam!
The only thing I don't like about this design is that it will forever leave me wanting to see him getting smashed with the hammer.
Re: Kabam!
I thought this was yours right away. I like your style. +1
Re: Kabam!
Aw, poor other dude is going to get walloped! Wonderful, simple design that makes a great shirt.
Re: Kabam!
This is dead on to those old cartoons and the feel of it. It's also another fantastically wearable design from you. Nice one, yet again Boots!
Re: Kabam!
If this prints, I know a good half-dozen people who will be picking it up, I'm sure...

I hope no one thought I said it was a rip of Oswald, it just looks like Oswald that was my first thought when I saw it. Also as stated some where earlier in this thread most characters of that time had a very similar appearance.
I like that classic cartoon look.

Yup.
I really wanted to buy this and it deserves a print.
Re: Kabam!

Re: Kabam!
