Nice, a shirt I would actually wear. Unfortunately, that means it probably won't get printed.

That silhouette looks great framed by the paint splashes. Very impressed to see what you do with a limited palette Chris.

Awesome idea and execution, just really wish it wasn't on black. Don't get me wrong, the color's look fantastic together. I just can't wear it.

Thanks everyone for the votes/comments. I am happy with how it turned out. Usually that's the kiss of death with my designs on Woot. My favorites never do well here.

It's actually on navy. Not sure if that will help sway your opinion though.

FYI, It looks black on my monitor as well.

Ugh, this monitor always skews the shirt colors for me. One of my favorite shirts I thought was red and it turned out to be orange, and I grew to love orange just because of the shirt design.

I can't wear black because I have a husky that sheds white, and it is a horrible mess sometimes.

And you don't have to sway me dixon, I've always admired your work and this is no different. I'd buy it on navy if we can push a late fog.

My grandfather (a Coast Guard captain in his day) and my dad (retired Navy, was a shooter on an aircraft carrier) are rooting for this shirt.
My grandmother, an artist, is as well. You've got my whole family on board!

That said, this is easily one of the best designs I've seen on woot. Very clever, and very striking.

Wow! Thank them all for the support. I will certainly be submitting this design somewhere else and I'd be happy to let you know when it's up for voting/purchase.

Thanks again everyone!

Great job on this one Chris as per usual. Question, do you make all your own splashes and splotches, and if so do you have a stockpile you pull from or do you make them individually like for this piece? Inquiring minds and all

Thanks! Unfortunately, I didn't get to throw paint at any walls for this one.

A couple were hand-done(in PS). But for most I just used some free textures and brush sets. A few of the splashes there were from a free brush set from Smashing Magazine. The larger ones I got from cgtextures.com Both great resources.
