The owl's expression is perfect. Looks like he or she has been up not more than 2 minutes. Nice colours. Octopus on the coffee mug holding coffee mugs ~ excellent detail.

Second, it's interesting you have 2 shirts that are like a story, the reverse of each other. Interesting....This one is the better of the 2, though.

Very cute! I actually think it's too large on the shirt, though I know most often comments here say to make things larger. It would be smaller on the women's sizes, since they typically use the same scaled down image that the do for kids sizes, so maybe it would be fine. I still like the style and color scheme, it really does work quite well on the baby blue shirt.

Agreed about the design being too big! It's still my favorite design, and if it wins I'll make it my new sleep shirt...but I can't see myself wearing this out in public with the owl taking up 90% of the shirt. Even when I order the woot shirts, the design seem much bigger in person than they are on screen, so I can only imagine how large this one will be. Oh well. Best of luck!

I really like the way you illustrated the owl, and the expression on his face is great. On the other hand, and opposed to other comments, I´m not that fond of the octopus in the mug. I can´t find what it adds to the design in terms of concept, and for me it doesn´t fit in terms of style with the rest of the illustration, where you used these thick contour lines. Anyway, still one of my favourites on the derby.

I use combinations either texture files or texture brushes. Thanks!

Thanks to everyone who voted and commented!

I like larger prints myself and think print size is personal preference, I usually try to display them larger on the mock-up so they show up better.
