link to larger jpeg of the design

Baba Yaga is the witch in many Slavic tales. She popped up in many other tales through out the years ranging from a children's series called the Sisters Grimm to the Dark Horse comic Hellboy. Her tales are filled with so much imagery that I couldn't resist a design inspired by her.

Awesome shirt. I remember reading Baba Yaga stories when I was a kid. Grandmother witch will trample you with her chicken leg house if you don't watch out.

Creepy, but in a good way. Reminds me of Mommy Fortuna from The Last Unicorn.

Is Baba Yaga riding is a soup bowl? That is a unique form of transportation. Where can I find a flying soup bowl? I love how gnarly her face is.

I forgot to ask. Do you have a deviant art account that I can follow you on?

actually its at mortar as in a mortar and pestle used to grind up herbs and items for potions and medicines. Baba Yaga would fly around in it using the pestle as a rudder and the broom of birch branches to sweep away her tracks.

I never set up an account there. I always seemed so daunting of a task. I do have a redbubble store and you can follow me on twitter and tumblr (see signature below)

Oh a mortar and pestle, that makes more sense. Ok I'll check you out on redbubble.
