I like how the lion gets considerably more chubby as he swallows each zebra. . . even if most male lions don't hunt.
Re: The Jungle Dance
Hahaha, very cute and funny!
Re: The Jungle Dance
this is great! soooo funny!
Re: The Jungle Dance
Ha! Why am I hearing an electronic drumbeat as I read the image?
Nicely done, Ramy. ^_^
Re: The Jungle Dance
I'm getting a "One fish, two fish, red fish, blue fish" vibe from this design, but in a twisted sort of fashion.
Re: The Jungle Dance
Cute. I don't like it as much as your other one, but this one certainly has merit.
Re: The Jungle Dance
Oh, Ramy. I needed me a good belly laugh tonight, and this did it. I adore this design. You are made of pure win.
GMV!

Is there any particular reason the lion only has three legs?

My first thought was to simplify the design... if the foot was drawn in front of the rear leg, it could look a little funny (sorta like uh, the lion has some genitalia). If the foot was drawn to the right of the other leg, it would look as though the lion were flying.
Whoosh! Super lion.
Sometimes eliminating a part on a character silhouette helps. After all, I think it's safe to say that we can still assume the lion has four limbs.

Why are the zebras smiling?

That's the first question I asked myself when I saw this design on Friday. I still don't have an answer.

He has a fourth leg in the first picture. I guess one of the Zebras ate it.

That's the thing though... he didn't have a belly that would cover up much of the fourth leg to start causing visual oddities. From a design standpoint, it makes sense why it was left out as the belly grew bigger.
Re: The Jungle Dance
First reaction: Aw, how cute, the lion and the zebras are doing a little dance together!
Second reaction: Wait...why's there red stuff all over the lion's mouth? And what happened to the other zebra? And why's the lion getting fatter?
Third reaction: OH MY GAWD NOOOOO. D:

I don't think they realize that they are dinner. They are just having a fun time dancing.

Maybe the lion's belly just hides the leg?
Re: The Jungle Dance
Love it!

This just raises another question. . . .
