Well this is an incredibly late entry but I really liked the idea. Hopefully everyone feels the same way. Lets see how far this little guy can get.

It's adorable. I love the way you cartoon. I do wish the shadows were a bit more asymmetrical and unpredictable. Still, gmv.

Yeah, I can't argue with ya there. I see a lot that I would like to do different. Knowing it was already a late entry, I was mainly focused on finishing it. Honestly its chances are pretty slim so I can go back and fix some things later.

At the risk of sounding like an booooo, I thought the symmetry was pretty weird because I didn't see the face at first. Now I see it and it's awesome- gonna be a rough night for the monkey though.

Purple is such an under appreciated color, and I'm grateful for you choosing it for your design!

I've been consistently loving your entries in the derbies as of late (Underground in the Hipster derby being my favorite so far), your concepts and art style are right up my alley. I sincerely hope to see a print form you very soon.

This is terrific! I like the hyenas, too.

The Chase (from the Hipster Derby) would have been a good one for this derby, too.

Your art is great fun. I look forward to seeing more.

Crap! I failed to do my research. I didn't realize lemurs couldn't wrap their tails around things. Well that makes one more thing to have to fix later on. Good catch.

Dammit, dammit, dammit. My first thought was to do something with my favorite misunderstood critter, the Aye-aye. But in my head Madagascar wasn't Africa, so I discarded it. Oh well, I wouldn't have done it this well, in any case. Your tooning is just wonderful.

I was under the impression that in the cartoon world...you could pretty much wrap your tail around anything!
