That came out very nicely
P.S: Thanks for the lizard idea, I'm totally gonna do it.
Re: The McEucalyptis is back!
this looks great on the tee color. very cute. I want to see the aftermath where the enraged koala attacks the other for that delicious sandwich. I'd attack him for his delicious sandwich. Oh heck yes I would. Give me that delicious sandwich!
I want to become an eccentric billionaire so that I can hire Walmazan to design a new t-shirt for me Every. Single. Day. Poor guy's arm will get tired from all that drawing. But I will pay him well. Yes, I will. For I will be a billionaire. With lots and lots of supercute t-shirts.
That's a really long way of saying that I'm totally voting for this. ![]()
Re: The McEucalyptis is back!
wally, usually I love your shirts(wonderful, wonderful tut, by the way, thank you!!), but something about this design is not digging it for me. in fact I'd say it borders on ramyb-like-odiousness factor.
(sorry, don't be offended, it's only my opinion, one opinion, and I only say this cos, hand on my heart every other wk I I love your work, :-)
Re: The McEucalyptis is back!
Hey look its a super-chibi Koala design
Man did I not see that one coming
Re: The McEucalyptis is back!
Do you think the McEucalyptis tastes like a yoga mat?
Here's the problem...without some context, i.e. "The McEucalyptis is back!" the shirt makes little sense.

Wouldn't McDonald's be considered pop culture?
jupilberry wrote:Wouldn't McDonald's be considered pop culture?
Good question. The shirt's title is obviously pop culture. However, if you look at the shirt itself, there's nothing there that relates to McDonald's. Is the title enough to get it rejected?
Re: The McEucalyptis is back!
Adorable! I like the expression on the little guy on the left.
Re: The McEucalyptis is back!
Sweet characters! I wonder if it's tastier than the McRib? +1

They say is a Koality burger! :P
lucky1988 wrote:Sweet characters! I wonder if it's tastier than the McRib? +1
Tastier, probably. But you'll notice how much more pudgier the koala eating the fast-foodized eucalyptus is ...
BTW, if you find out what's in a McRib, you might not want another one.
Re: The McEucalyptis is back!
I love your simple, well done ideas.

I agree - sorry, Wences. This one doesn't do it for me. I have more of your designs than any other Woot artist. But just not feeling this one. ![]()
Re: The McEucalyptis is back!
And thus began the awareness of koala obesity.
Re: The McEucalyptis is back!
GMV. And my $$, too, when it prints (thinking positive).

It skates close enough to that fine line (as does the "Australian Army Knife"), but without the text, it really isn't a pop culture reference. In fact, it's nothing more than another cutesy koala.
I had *really* hoped for more of the artistic shirts to win.
