I was reading the book Gödel Escher Bach a few years ago and it described the mathamatical complexity in Bach's fugues, comparing it to the structures of Escher's drawings and Gödel's theorems. That was the inspiration for this design.

It took me a minute to get that those are musical notes in the aurora, I think if the stems were less centered it would be a little more obvious (though I could just be oblivious). Still, it's gorgeous!

Ah...the Music of the Spheres. This is a great take on G/E/B...but I'm wondering if, in the execution, it's going to look like someone reaching up to grope the boobs of the wearer? Or using the baton to point out some sort of anatomical oddity...
