The typos are definitely on purpose. You should check out the video for the reference to understand why the typos are there.

Point taken, and the video got a chuckle.

However, if I didn't know the typos were purposeful, neither will 99% of the people reading my shirt... and the smart ones will be wondering whether I didn't realize there were typos. Before I would stoop to wearing something that would encourage others to think I can't spell check before purchasing, the reference would have to be at the "if you don't know about this, you must be living under a rock" level of popular (eg, Star Wars, Disney) or obvious in the actual joke itself (Dyslexics Untie!).

That's very true. I agree with you. I was pretty brain dead and rushed this derby, and I'm not too happy with my design. Almost didn't submit...probably shouldn't have. Heh.

Hilarious. I got the joke after the vid, showed the shirt to my bf and he got it straightaway.
