Speaking of speed, I want whatever computer you're using to upload so fast. Dang.
That aside, like the Sonic reference, poor little guy seems to not get as much love these days since the end of Sega systems...

You haven't seen Sonic Generations, eh?

It just seems for every 10 Mario games (and I like Mario, don't get me wrong) there's one Sonic game. And sometimes, that one isn't executed that well.

There have been plenty of Sonic games recently. They have just mostly been horrible, so they get no press. Poor blue fella.

Ah, that would be it then. Perhaps I should have revised that "one" to ".5 games are released to Mario's ten." Sad days for the once awesome rival to Nintendo.

Sonic Colors and Sonic Generations were both really well done. I still prefer the classic platforming of the originals to the more modern, reflex heavy style. I don't have the reflexes of a hummingbird, so I find them fairly difficult and unforgiving. (my kid is a huge Sonic fan so I'm well-versed in Sonic culture).

That cheetah has no tear stripes. :< Fail.
Re: Acceleration
I love it that the cheetah is too astounded to eat the gazelle. xD

Step 1: Visit Meadow
Step 2: Go to Factory
Step 3: Profit!!!
Re: Acceleration
I always somehow always find your design in the derbies. Each is well done, including this one. Showing Sonic a little love. I hope it prints! =)

I LOL'd.
Re: Acceleration
Love!
Re: Acceleration
Due to a neurological disease my hedgehog has very little use of his back legs, this one has no visible hind legs so I must conclude that Ramyb drew my hedgehog. Why is he in gray and in Africa? I don't know.

Did he have WHS? (Wobbly Hedgehog Syndrome) One of ours did. It is sad. Basically like Parkinson's for hedgies.
I am totally voting for this shirt! Hedgies & Africa - love!
Re: Acceleration
Stop making shirts made of Win.
Give some other artists a chance to win a derby.

Amazing Alliteration.

I thought the same thing myself, but then I looked closer. They're there, just no as distinct as they normally would be since there is no black in the coloration.
Brilliant shirt overall, though. I liked it from the thumbnail, but then I started cracking up when I saw the complete design with the other animals' reactions.
Re: Acceleration
I got a shirt a while ago that has the same "Sonic" - the shirt with the hedgehog playing in blue paint. I know this is a different drawing, but it feels like a copy+paste of that one. Didn't even try a different style or approach, just "look at the cute animals."
As a Sonic fan, it's genuinely disappointing. But as a shirt.woot voter, it's not surprising. Ah well!
Re: Acceleration
It looks like all the animals are moving fast, while they are supposed to be sitting... Shouldn't their hair be blowing forward if he was passing them?
Actually, we call that amazing assonance.
