Re: don't mess with ralph
He's a scary cat!
Oh, and the cat is my cat, and from a photo I took myself.

Wow! All those hairs.. Nicely done!
Re: don't mess with ralph
Oh man, I wish you would post a bigger version of the artwork as your shirt comp- I think the appeal is all of these neat hand drawn lines and the different directions they go, and I think that appeal may be lost if it's not presented bigger. Either way, this is really neat- it's a cool exploration in drawing fur. gmv

thanks very much, Robbie. I almost did put up a big enlargement as background to the shirt comp, but didn't manage it. That image is a big png, though, so if anyone clicks on it, I think they get a bigger view.
At any rate, here is a link to more detail shots, including my source image, with some redaction.
Ralph's pics
Re: don't mess with ralph
This is great
But isn't it a bit too close to the bottom of the shirt for the available printing area?

not meant to be. If the shirt looks like it's folded up at the bottom so that the design overlaps the edge, that's what we call an 'optical illusion'. The lighting of the wrinkly template just gives the illusion of a folded up edge. The design actually stops a couple of inches from the real bottom of the shirt.
yeah, that's it.
actually, you need to not be too close to the bottom or sides, but there is no requirement to be within that box you see on the woot shirt template. the design is actually 14"x19", well within woot's 16x20 requirement.

This is top notch Joe, any other derby you would have had a contender. Too much cute to compete with this week.
A lack of an HM would be a crime IMO.

Ah, cool. Thanks for the explanation
