Summary:
Inspired by the "Kony 2012" documentary
This is me, doing my part...
If this design wins, I pledge to donate $500 to the "Invisible Children" movement. You read it right, five-double zero. The donation would be made in the name of the whole "Shirt Designers and Voters Community". If you vote for this design, please, write your name and location on the thread (optional), so I can make a list of names and send it with the money. Let's show the world that there are things that can be done. Take action beyond "sharing" a video. We can make the difference.
But, what if your design doesn't win, you ask? I'll still make a $50 donation from my own money, in the name of the the whole community.

Uh, maybe you should ask people to email or PM you their personal information if they feel the need to do something like that. I don't think posting it here is a great idea.

Posting personal information on the forums is generally a bad idea, but even if you disagreed, we would have to edit it out. It's just for your protection, really! Who knows what unsavory sorts might lurk!

How to Determine If a Charity Like Kony 2012 Is Worth Your Money
Wouldn't it be better to donate that money to one of the charities Invisible Children gives grants to. I mean if I was giving $500 to a charity, I'd want every dollar to count. I understand there is overhead to every charity, but only about 20% of the money get goes to actual charities. That $500 quickly becomes less than $100 after those charities' overhead.

THANK YOU!! For bringing this crucial issue to my attention! It's so easy to get caught up in our own little worlds, oblivious to the world at large. THANK YOU for waking me up!

Re: Make Him Famous
Thanks everyone for your comments (public and private) and support. I really thought this design was going to be a mayor hit, but after so much thought, I believe this wasn't the right forum to bring a social theme like this. I just wanted to do my part, helping the cause a little bit as a designer.
Still, I'll donate the $50 to the Invisible Children movement. If you want to be included, doesn't matter if you voted for this design or not, please send me a private message with your name (last name is optional) and location.
Stay tuned to my blog for updates on the donation. I'll post the details soon.
Thanks once again, you guys rock!

I love action at the grass roots level. This design is brilliant. I am already supporting the make him famous movement, but would definitely buy this.
