Re: Humpty's End

This makes me think of a recent article that asked why everyone assumes Humpty Dumpty is an egg. I mean, he's portrayed that way, but it's never really said in the poem, is it?

I heard somewhere that it was originally a riddle, and the answer was "an egg." I can't prove it though.

Just out of curiostiy, is the piece in the back suppose to be the king? Cause "All the king's horses and all the king's men..." It's not a big deal, I'm just wondering, especially since it looks more like a queen piece.

If you like Humpty in all his forms, check out this year's winner for Best Animated Short. I will warn you, my wife cried through the last 5 minutes.

The Fantastic Flying Books of Mr. Morris Lessmore

A bit of trivia... the first pinball machine to have flippers was Humpty Dumpty by Gottlieb from 1947.

Does the poem title need to be in the shirt title?

Ahhh, thank you! I'm not the only one who cried. REALLY wasn't expecting the ending, and amazing with or without the words!! Can't wait till my son's old enough to appreciate it.

I like how his little legs are twisted to the side. Precious details. I like many things about this design. Lots of wonderful, playful details. Very rich.
